One Ukrainian soldier has been killed and two others have been injured in the recent clashes in the eastern region of Donbass. Clashes between pro-government forces and forces of the DPR and the LPR appear along the established contact line on a constant basis despite the formal ceasefire regime in the area.
Both sides blame each other for the violation of the ceasefire regime. Nonetheless, the Kiev government is interested in keeping a high level of tensions in eastern Ukraine in order to continue receiving weapons and funds from Western states. Thus, there are little chances that the situation there will be improved any time soon.
