The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation do not stop developing their offensive on the southern Zaporozhie frontlines. On March 25th, the Russian Defense ministry officially confirmed the full control of the village of Malye Scherbaki.
The Russian troops continue offensive operations in different directions from their stronghold in Pyatikhatki. To the north, Russian forces won battle for Malye Scherbaki. They approached the southern outskirts of the village about two weeks ago. Having gained a foothold on the southern streets, they were repelling the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the northern outskirts, securing control of the areas nearby.
Russian victory in Malye Scherbaki strengthened their control of the strategically important road, along which the line of Ukrainian defense was laying. It also increases pressure on Ukrainian positions in the village of Scherbaki located to the east.
At the same time, the Russian troops advanced north of Pyatikhatki and Zherebyanki and launched assault on Ukrainian stronghold in Lobkovoe. Russian assault groups gained a foothold in the village. Fighting is ongoing in the center.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine sent reinforcement to this direction and attempt counterattacks on the outskirts of Stepovoe in an attempt to repel Russian forces from this stronghold. Encounter battles continue without any significant changes of the zones of control.
