Last night passed quietly in the Ukrainian rear, but on the evening of July 9, a new wave of Russian strikes destroyed targets in different regions of Ukraine. A series of explosions thundered throughout the country.
Several Russian strikes were first reported in the southern region of Odessa. Large explosions thundered in the city of Odessa. More Russian strikes targeted the port town of Ilyichevsk (Chernomorsk), one of the local logistics hub used for the transfer of NATO weapons to Ukraine.
The Ukrainian authorities do not reveal the targets but the footage filmed in the area confirmed their destruction. According to preliminary reports, Russian missiles could target the points of deployment of Ukrainian air defense systems. According to local reports, the strikes were coordinated by Russian reconnaissance UAV that filmed the results of the attack.
A little later, Ukrainian media reported a wave of Russian strikes in the Poltava region. The local residents filmed smoke rising in in the city of Poltava. The local authorities confirmed the destruction of an industrial facility. A large fire broke out at the facility. The locals complained that there was a persistent smell of chemicals in the area.
In the afternoon, more Russian strikes were reported in the city of Kramatorsk in the Donetsk People’s republic and in the border Sumy region. Any details are yet to revealed.
