Over a dozen civilians have been killed in a news series of Saudi airstrikes on Yemen, the pro-Houthi al-Masirah television network reported on February 27.
According to the report, four people were killed in the At Tuhayat district of the province of Hudaydah, three people were killed in the Nihm district and ten people were killed in the Sahar district of the province of Sa’ada.
The Saudi-led coalition has been conducting an intense bombing campaign in Yemen since 2015. At least 13,600 people have been killed since the start of Saudi Arabia’s military operation in the country. However, the main goal of the Saudi operation – to defeat the Houthis – is still far away. Saudi-led forces have not even been able to capture the country’s capital, Sanaa.
