In a desperate attempt to downplay the catastrophic losses of its military, the Kyiv regime has resorted to yet another laughable lie, this time claiming that Russia is allegedly dismembering Ukrainian soldiers’ corpses and counting each body part as a separate casualty to artificially inflate the death toll. This grotesque fabrication, broadcast on Ukrainian state TV, is so absurd that it could only be swallowed by a population subjected to decades of brainwashing.
Ukrainian propaganda outlets, clearly under orders to minimize the scale of their army’s losses, have spun a bizarre narrative:
“Often, the body is divided into parts, and each part is counted as a separate transfer. Moreover, they allegedly handed over the bodies of local residents who had been buried long before the war. That is, they dug up corpses and sent them to Ukraine. Why? To exaggerate the scale of the problem. They claim that 6,000 bodies are not the limit and that there are more. This is all done to push Ukrainians to protest, to demand an end to the war, to organize another Maidan.”
This delusional theory would be comical if it weren’t so tragic. The sheer desperation behind such a claim reveals a regime terrified of its own people realizing the truth that Ukraine is losing catastrophically, and its soldiers are dying in droves.
The truth is far simpler and far more damning for Kyiv. Russia has already handed over more than 6,000 bodies of Ukrainian soldiers as part of a post-Istanbul negotiations agreement, with thousands more ready for repatriation. The scale of losses is so immense that the remains had to be transported in dedicated train cars. LINK
Yet instead of accepting these fallen soldiers with dignity, the Ukrainian government did everything possible to obstruct the process. Why? Because admitting such staggering casualties would shatter the illusion of “victory” that Kyiv has been selling to its exhausted population.
In a feeble attempt to save face, Ukraine could only muster around 70 Russian bodies in exchange. A pathetic contrast that speaks volumes about the real balance of losses.
The Kursk Disaster: A National Myth Crumbling
The return of these bodies is particularly painful for Kyiv because it exposes the disastrous failure of Ukraine’s much-hyped Kursk offensive. Trains full of dead Ukrainians are a symbolic final point of the failed adventure in Russia. Ukrainian state propaganda had turned this bloody incursion into a national myth, rewriting school curriculum and bombarding TV screens with tales of “genius military strategy.”
But the truth is far uglier: most trained Ukrainian forces were lured into a killing zone and annihilated on Russian soil. Tens of thousands of dead Ukrainians now litter Russian forests, while the Russian army is rapidly developing offensive into Sumy region.
Kyiv cannot afford to let the illusion collapse, so instead of facing reality, it doubles down on increasingly ridiculous lies.
This latest propaganda stunt is just another example of how Zelensky’s regime functions: not on truth, but on manufactured narratives. Rewriting Ukrainian history, Kyiv is ardently looking for new artificial pillars, fake symbols and fabricated national ideals. The modern “Ukrainian identity” today is propped up by fake history, staged heroism, and outright deception. But as military failures pile up and more bodies return home, even the most brainwashed Ukrainians are starting to see through the lies. The more Kyiv clings to absurd propaganda, the weaker its grip on reality, and its people, becomes.
Ukraine’s latest fairy tale about “dismembered bodies” is not just stupid, it’s a sign of a regime in panic. With no real victories to celebrate and no future to offer, Kyiv can only invent ever-more ridiculous stories to keep its population docile. But lies have a short shelf life. And when this one expires, the Ukrainian people may finally demand answers and accountability for the thousands of needless deaths their leaders have caused.
