- On January 10, Russian warplanes struck ISIS positions near Rasafah;
- On January 9, Russian warplanes struck positions of Turkish-backed militants in the Kabani area;
- On January 10, unknown aircraft targeted oil facilities of Turkish-backed militants near Tarhin village;
- On January 9, the Russian Military Police conducted a patrol in the vicinity of al-Malikiyah;
- On January 9, SAA artillery shelled positions of Turkish-backed forces in the Kafr Ama area;
- On January 9, Amer Al-Sheikh was appointed as a new leader of the Ahrar al-Sham movement;
