- The AFU struck a water elevator in the Novaya Kakhovka area;
- Russian artillery struck the AFU positions in the Partizanskoye area;
- Clashes between AFU and Russian forces were reported in Kiselevka and Partizanskoe;
- Russian forces advanced towards Ternovka but were pushed back to Blagodatovka where clashes continue;
- Russian forces destroyed Ukrainian pontoon crossings through the Ingulets River near Andreevka. Ukrainian grouping on the left bank of the river was cut off supplies;
- Olgino and Visokopolie remain under Russian control;
- On the evening of September 2, Russian forces prevented another attempt of the AFU to capture the Zaporozhye NPP on landing boats.
