Iraqi security forces (ISF) are advancing against ISIS terrorists in the Old Mosul area of the Iraqi city of Mosul. ISF have made some gains, but an intense fighting is ongoing. According to some sources, only about 200 ISIS members remain in Old Mosul.
At the same time, the security situation is very complicated in the neighborhoods of Al-Tanak, Al-Yarmuk and Nahrwn attacked by ISIS last weekend.
