- The Iraqi security forces arrested four ISIS members in the Nineveh province;
- Hundreds of Iraqi protesters attacked the Sweden’s embassy in Baghdad and set it on fire in response to Sweden’s permission to burn the Holy Quran and the Iraqi flag again.;
- After insulting the Holy Quran in Sweden under auspice of Sweden government, the Ashab al-Kahf resistance group announced that the forces of this group will target all commercial and economic interests of Sweden in Iraq;
- The office of Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani announced that the Iraqi government had sent a message to the government of Sweden that it will sever its diplomatic relations with Sweden if the permission to burn the Holy Quran is repeated.
