• On December 18, government forces recaptured the town of Weldiya and surrounding areas;
• On December 18, government forces recaptured the town of Kobo and surrounding areas;
• On December 17, several people were reportedly killed in Ethiopian warplane airstrikes in Alamata city;
• On December 20, a drone attack in Mlazat targeted a public transport minibus. 30 people were reportedly killed.
