This map provides a general look at the military situation in eastern Ukraine on December 3. The Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) have started a buildup near the contact line with forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) following the November 5 incident between Russian coastal guard and a Ukrainian naval group in the Black Sea, south of the Kerch Strait.
