ISIS governor of Deir ez-Zor Abu Khadijah al-Masri was killed along with other ISIS members during clashes with the Syrian Arab Army in the city of Deir Ezzor on May 22. According to reports, more than 15 ISIS fighters, including al-Masri, were killed in recent clashes in the city.
