- The Defense Ministry announced that its forces had retaken the Baharak district in Takhar province from the Taliban. According to the military, 89 Taliban fighters were killed and 67 were wounded in the villages of Abdal and Takhta Kaparak;
- An IED explosion wounded at least 4 persons in the Muqur district, Ghazni province;
- The Taliban claimed tat at least 14 pro-government fighters were killed and 7 more were wounded in the Nahrin district, Baghlan provnce.
