- At least 20 government troops were killed and dozens others were wounded in a Taliban raid in the Dash-e-Archi district of Kunduz province, the Taliban reported;
- The Taliban said that 23 government fighters were killed and 11 others were injured in clashes in the districts of Syed Abad and Nirkh district, Wardak province;
- Government forces announced that they had repelled Taliban attacks in the districts of Dash-e-Archi and Chardara, Kunduz province.
