- 13 people were killed and 55 others were wounded in a Taliban attack on the police headquarters of Pul-e-Khumri city in Baghlan province;
- At least 41 Taliban members were killed and 24 others were injured as a result of clashes with pro-government forces, according to local authorities in the Burka disitrict, Baglan province. Pro-government sources say that 9 security personnel were killed and 3 injured;
- According to the Taliban, one armoured vehicle belonging to pro-government forces was destroyed near the Baglan provincial capital;
- The Taliban attacked pro-government forces in the Hasha district, Badakhshan province. At least 2 vehicles were reportedly captured.
