A brief overivew of the recent developments in Afghanistan:
- The Taliban conducted 95 attacks on government forces in 10 provinces during the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Defense reported late on March 13;
- The Kabul government said that it will start releasing 1,500 Taliban prisoners (100 persons per day) on March 14 if the movement fulfils the ceasefire agtreement;
- The Taliban announced that 684 Kabul administration workers joined the group in February 2020;
- An increased activity of ISIS cells was reported in northern Afghanistan.
