Russian air defense forces show their effectiveness in repelling the massive waves of strikes of modern NATO missiles; but some rare drones are still reaching their rear targets as well as NATO missiles.

On the night of May 15, the local authorities confirmed two explosions at a fuel depot in the Rostov region. The facility came under the attack of two kamikaze UAVs. According to the local governor, there was no fire as a result of the explosions. No people were wounded.

The main target of the massive night attack was definately the Crimean peninsula. The local residents confirmed a series of explosions in the city of Sevastopol and on its outskirts, where Russian air defense forces were active repelling the massive attack of the US-made ATACMS missiles. According to local sources, up to 16 missiles were launched in total.

The footage from the city confirmed that at least one missile struck the Belbek military airfield located on the outskirts of Sevastopol. Fire was seen in the area.

Ukrainian media spread unconfirmed reports about the alleged damage at the airfield, which included a destroyed MiG-31, damaged three Su-27s were damaged, destroyed two S-300 and S-400. 11 people were allegedly killed.

The airfield came under another attack of the French/British Strom Shadow/Scalp EG missiles back in February, 2024. Then, Kiev celebrated another victory; but the satellite imagery soon revealed that the airfield suffered only some limited damage. LINK

All Ukrainian attacks as well as the control of the results of the strikes are coordinated and confirmed by NATO reconnaissance in the Black Sea region. The results of the last night attack are yet to be revealed.

At the moment, Russian air defense forces are repelling another massive attack on Crimea. Several targets were destroyed in Sevastopol and Simferopol.
