The attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Kursk region comes amid the slow but steady collapse of their defense lines in the region of Donbass. After the recent loss of the town of New York (east of Gorlovka) and a group of other villages, the Kyiv regime is currently experiencing a developing crisis around Pokrovsk and Ugledar.
Russian Lancet hits М777 artillery gun on the right bank of Dnepr River:
On August 21, the Russian military officially confirmed that the village of Zhelannoye is liberated, confirming the recent reports about large Russian advances there. According to recent reports, the entire group of villages around Zhelannoe, including Orlovka, Nikolaevka, Zavetnoe, Sergeevka and others are now in the hands of the Russian Armed Forces. The defense of the Kyiv regime is also on the brink of collapse in Kamishevka.
In the sector of Ugledar, Russian troops were able to improve their positions in the vicinity of Konstantinovka and Vodyanoe. Kyiv’s forces also experience difficulties around the town of Chasov Yar east of Artemovsk.
The Kyiv regime likely considers its desperate attack on Kursk region as a chance to draw attention of its sponsors from the losing battle of Donbass and paint itself as the side that keeps initiative in this conflict. Leaders of modern Ukraine do not really care about the cost of this adventure.
