On September 6, an explosion took place near the administration building in the city of Berdiansk in the Zaporozhie region. The terrorist attack targeted the military commandant of Berdyansk Artem Bardin.
His car burned down as a result of the explosion. Three other civilian cars nearby were also damaged. The commandant was taken to the hospital. Soon after the incident his death was reported by the local officials. However, the reports were later denied. Bardin survived the assassination attempt. According to the head of the local regional administration, Bardin “had a leg amputation due to the explosion, a very serious condition,” doctors tried to save his life.
Ukrainian saboteurs were accused of the terrorist attack.
Terrorist acts are the main tactic used by the Kiev regime to threaten the civilian population in the regions that have come under the control of the Russian military.
