Militants in southern Syria have surrendered another batch of armoured vehicles and weapons, including six more tanks, to the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), according to numbers provided by chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Parties in Syria Alexei Tsygankov said on July 16.
Tsygankov revealed that so far militants have surrendered 40 units of heavy military equipment, including 26 battle tanks, over 30 mortars as well as many other weapons.
On July 14, the Center revealed that 6 anti-aircraft automatic guns, 13 anti-aircraft guns, 83 shoulder-launched anti-tank rocket-propelled grenade launchers have been also surrendered by militants.
