Armed militants of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) and members of their families are currently being transported from Moadamiya Al-Sham, suburb of Damascus, to Idlib. Reportedly, about 620 fighters and members of their families will leave the suburb today. According to some reports, the total number of people, who will leave Moadamiya, is about 3,000.
Meanwhile, pro-militants sources report about ongoing protests in the Damascus suburb of Moadamiya against the plan to clean the city from the FSA members. Reportedly, militants chant: “Idlib, Idlib, ma bedna, bedna ne’eesh fy baladna!” (“Idlib, Idlib, we do not want, we want to live in our city!”).
According to the last reports, as for the moment, more than twenty busses, each of which can seat 55 passengers, have departed from Moadamiya. This means that at least 1,100 militants and their relatives have already left the Damascus suburb.
The operation for the withdrawal of terrorists out of the city is currently ongoing.
