Olga Kachura who has call sign ‘Corsa’ is commander of the reactive artillery unit of the DPR People’s Militia. Since 2014, she has trained hundreds of fighters, and now she has 140 artillerymen under her command. The woman became a living legend in the DPR.
“The most important thing for us,” smiles Korsa, —is time and accuracy. The faster you learn, the longer you live. The faster we work out and hit the enemy, the less likely we will come under fire.”
– Two minutes ready.
– Report when ready. Time.
– Accepted. One minute. Yes, ready.
– Fire at the enemy’s target! Three hundred and thirty-three.
Olga Kachura: “The understanding that Ukraine can change something in its attitude to the DPR is gone. There was just confidence already – war, war and war!”
– Guys, on the fascists.. with a volley.. shot!
Olga Kachura: “This is my land, this is my homeland, my children are here, my parents were born and died here and they (Note: AFU) destroyed the grave of my ancestors, it is not forgiven.”
– Where’s the car? Smerch, I am Korsa, ten charge on target: 2862, ten ZRS – fire!
Olga Kachura: “I get pleasure every time, because with each of my shots, the time of our victory is approaching. Each of the boys really understands that the better we work out each shot, the enemy will either escape or die. It means that we will return home to our families, to our children faster.
There is no love left already, what kind of state is this that destroys its own people? At that time, in principle, we were part of Ukraine and the ruler who gave the order to shoot, destroy cities, bomb them, he had already committed a crime against his own people.
– Now it’s getting dark, “will come in” the cars and will work.”
Journalist: “Is it beautiful?”
Olga Kachura (with a smile): “Very much!”
(Note: in the video, Corsa’s favorite song sounds – Louna “Storming the heavens”).
