Saudi-led forces failed to reach the key Yemeni port city of al-Hudaydah after their attack north of it had been repelled by the Houthis. According to local observers, the situation in the area remains tense, but it seems that the Saudi-led coalition and its proxies have lost the momentum and are now facing difficulties in developing their advance further.
Al-Hudaydah is a key logistical hub in the Houthis-controlled part of Yemen. If the Saudi-led coalition captures it, this will be a major blow to the Houthis and their allies.
