Forces loyal to the Saudi-UAE-led coalition continue their attemts to reach the key Yemeni port city of al-Hudaydah, which is currently controlled by the Houthis (Ansar Allah) and their allies.
Over the past few months, coalition forces have carried out several offensives to capture al-Hudaydah, but all of them has failed. So, now, the coalition is seeking to outflank the port city from the eastern direction. At the same time the Houthi-led forces are determined to not allow the coalition to achieve its goal.
