A brief overview of the recent developments in Mozambique:
- On August 11, ISIS militants captured a port in the town of Mocimboa da Praia;
- ISIS forces took control of an airfield located near the port;
- ISIS attack at the town of Mocimboa da Praia began on August 6;
- A French-made HSI32 boat, used by the Mozambican coast guard was reportedly destroyed by an RPG;
- ISIS militants seized numerous weapons. The Mozambican army has reportedly suffered more than 60 casualties;
- ISIS members captured two military bases near Mocimboa da Praia.
