- A prominent ISIS commander, Mohamed Entikhab, and four of his aides were eliminated in a security operation in Samarra city in Salahuddin province. Entikhab was reportedly responsible for recruiting children and preparing suicide bombers;
- The PMU eliminated an ISIS member in the Hamrin Mountains area in Diyala province;
- An Iraqi soldier was killed by a supposed ISIS gunfire in the Baqubah area, Diyala province.
