Video: Kurdish units are fighting against the Syrian National Defense Forces (NDF), April 22, 2016
Accordign to reports, the clashes between the Kurdish police (Asayish) and local pro-government militias are ongoing in the city of Qamishli.
The Asayish advances on the city airport. In turn, the NDF and Assyrian forces (Sootooro and Hamiya Al-Jazeerah) launched a counter-attack capturing several sites from the Kurdish forces.
The map below alledgedly represents the situation in the city . It’s had to confirm all reports, especially the usage of the artillery by the NDF. Such claims and alleged civilian casualties are used by the Kurdish side and pro-Islamist sources as a propaganda move in this situation.
