Zelensky is trying to play diplomacy, while his army cannot stop losing the war. The head of the Kiev regime tried to draw the red lines that Kiev does not agree to cross.
Zelensky refuses to reduce the number of Ukrainian troops, which is now three times higher than it was before the hostilities began. Moreover, Kiev plans to enlarge its army, increasing number of the troops and launching their technical modernization after the end of the war.
The second “unacceptable concession” for Zelensky is the official recognition of the loss of the territories that came under Russian control. Kiev believes that it allegedly can gain the lost regions back through diplomatic means.
However, Kiev’s diplomacy is as weak as its army.
On the night of April 4th, Russian air defense repelled another massive attack of Ukrainian UAVs. In total, 107 Ukrainian drones were destroyed, including one of them in the Moscow region. As usual, Ukrainian attack resulted in no damage to any military facilities, but Ukrainian drones continue wounding and killing civilians.
In their turn, Russian forces do not stop devastating precision strikes on Ukrainian rear infrastructure. Last night, Russian drones pounded Ukrainian command posts, warehouses, logistics hubs and other military facilities in the Kiev, Kharkiv, Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhie regions.
The city of Kharkiv came under another devastating attack. As a result, the 218th separate military logistics center was destroyed, and the local Military Institute of Tank Troops was heavily damaged.
The enterprise specialized on production of explosives was attacked in Kremenoe in the Zaporozhie region.
Military hideouts came under precision strikes in Brovary on the outskirts of the Ukrainian capital.
One of the main targets of Russian strikes was the international airfield in the city of Dnipro, which was used by the Ukrainian military. According to local reports, a large hangar and six civilian aircraft were destroyed as a result of the attack.
Dominating in the air, the Russian military maintains the initiative on the ground. The Russian troops re repelling the last Ukrainian forces from the border areas in Guevo and Oleshnya. According to preliminary reports the village of Basovka located in the Sumy region came under Russian control. As a result, Ukrainian forces retreating from the Kursk region are suffering more losses.
Ukrainian attacks in the border Belgorod region brought no results. Clashes continues in the forests near the border. The Ukrainian military failed to gain control of the villages of Demidovka, Popovka.
The Russian army is rapidly advancing in the Southern Donetsk direction. After their victories in Razliv and Constantinople, the Russian troops advanced on a wide front, approaching the villages of Bogatyr and Alekseevka.
On the Zaporizhia front, the Russian Armed Forces increased the intensity of hostilities in the areas of Lobkovo and Shcherbaky, expanding the control zone. The activation of the Kamensky front is becoming a new element of the situation. Paratroopers and motorized infantry are pushing through Ukrainian defense, trying to knock the enemy out across the water barrier.
