The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) do not stop daily strikes on Russian energy infrastructure, violating the agreement reached by Moscow, Washington, and Kiev on March 18th. Kiev lost control of its military.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the AFU launched three new attacks on Russian energy facilities.
On the morning of March 28th, the Sudzha gas measuring station came under two strikes, presumably of the US-made HIMARS MLRS. As a result of the large fire, the station was almost destroyed. On March 21st, the retreating Ukrainian troops also attacked the station, inflicting heavy damage to this strategically important facility. LINK
The rear city of Saratov came under another massive attack of Ukrainian UAVs. They targeted the local oir refinery. According to the Russian military, 19 kamikaze UAVs were destroyed by Russian air defense.
On the afternoon of March 27th, Ukrainian artillery shelled the facilities of the Rosseti Center – Belgorodenergo in the Belgorod region. As a result of the attack, electricity was cut off in the Schebekino district.
Thus, all the publicly declared commitments of the Kiev regime to allegedly stop deliberate attacks on Russian civilian energy infrastructure are nothing but another ploy of Zelensky aimed at preventing the collapse of Ukrainian defense and restoring its military potential with the help of European “allies,” the Russian MoD concluded.
In its turn, the Russian military is following the order of President Putin and does not attack Ukrainian energy infrastructure. Today, the Kremlin clarified that Moscow reserves the right not to comply with Kiev’s constant violation of the moratorium.
From March 22 to March 28, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out seven group strikes with precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles, as a result of which the infrastructure of military airfields, the training center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, control centers, assembly shops, storage and training facilities for operators of unmanned aerial vehicles, ammunition depots, as well as places of temporary deployment of nationalists and Ukrainian armed formations, – the Russian MoD reported.
There were no strikes on Ukrainian energy facilities.
According to the press secretary for the Russian President, the AFU do not follow order of the Ukrainian leadership, launching strikes on Russian energy infrastructure. There is total lack of control on the Ukrainian side.
Ukraine joined the moratorium on strikes on energy facilities and gave the command to the military, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not listen to the orders of the leadership, — Peskov.
The lack of control of the Ukrainian military is not surprising, but it should not be excluded that the Kiev regime allows the attacks on Russian energy facilities in an attempt to provoke escalation. Moreover, Ukrainian daily strikes continue for more than a week.
