Kiev Claimed Another Prisoner Swap, It Turned Out Only Bodies Of Dead Solders Returned To Ukraine

Soldiers who were allegedly exchanged.

The head of Vladimir Zelensky’s office, Andrei Ermak, announced the exchange of prisoners with Russia. According to him, 32 people were returned to Ukraine. Sources in the DPR refuted the information.

According to Ermak, among those released are soldiers, officers and sergeants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Some of whom were considered missing. As part of this exchange, the body of Israeli fighter Dmitry Fialka was also reportedly received by the Kiev regime.

The Russian officials did not comment on the alleged prisoner swap. Russian media rarely share information on the released servicemen and they usually do not show their photos. Some experts supposed that the reason is that most of Russian servicemen are tortured by Ukrainian Nazis.

Soon after the good news were spread in Ukraine, military sources in the DPR revealed that Ermak’s claims were nothing but another media campaign of the Kiev regime.

Kiev made lound claims in order to distract the public attention in Ukraine from the ongoing Russia’s successful attacks on the strategic military and energy facilities throughout the country.

Earlier on the same day, both Russian and Ukrainian military sources confirmed that there was an exchange of bodies of dead soldiers between Russia and Ukraine. According to the Ukrainian Ministry for the Reintegration of Uncontrolled Territories, Ukraine got bodies of 62 soldiers, including those who were killed in the pre-trial detention center in Elenovka. In the early morning of July 29, Kiev’s forces shelled a detention center for Ukrainian prisoners of war in the village of Elenovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic. LINK

So far, the number of bodies returned to Russia has not been revealed. The exchange of the bodies are taking place on a regular basis and are rarely announced by the waring sides.

The last reported prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine took place on the night of September 22. Russia got 50 soldiers back, including servicemen of the DPR and LPR. As stated in the Russian Defense Ministry, they were “in mortal danger” in captivity. Ukraine, in turn, received 215 people, including the commanders of the Nazi Azov regiment.
