On March 1st, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation warned of the upcoming strikes with precision-guided weapons at a number of military facilities in Kiev, which were involved in information attacks against Russia.
Civilians were asked to stay away from military facilities, including the 72nd main center for informational and psychological operations (CIPSO) of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) and TV towers.
Several hours after the claim, the TV towers in Kiev and in Kharkiv were destroyed by Russian missiles.
The Kiev mayor Vitaliy Klichko confirmed that the hardware and transformer substation feeding the tower in Kiev were damaged.
According to the local authorities, none of the staff of the TV center was injured, but people who happened to be near the attacked object were killed. The press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that 5 civilians were killed and 5 others were injured.
According to the mayor of the capital Vitali Klitschko, they so-called victims were just passers-by who were walking down the street. They died from the second blow which targeted the transformer substation of the television center, which is actually located on the territory of Babi Yar, away from the tower.
Photos and videos from the explosion site with the bodies of the dead were published on March 1 by Anton Gerashchenko, adviser to the Interior Minister.
By the evening, the horrific video allegedly showing the civilian victims near the TV tower in Kiev was shared on social media and was quickly spread all around the world. However, the video was fastly blamed to be another fake.
There were several details noted by independent observers in social media. First of all, the corpses shown on the video have signs of pronounced rigor mortis at least 4-6 or more hours after death. The closes of the dead torn, but they had almost no wounds on the skin. Judging by the smoke, their skin should be burned but it is not.
Another argument is that all the corps are all lying together but they should be thrown in the area by such a huge blast wave.
The locals noted that there is a morgue not far from the TV tower. thay supposed that the corps could have been brought from the bureau of forensic examination fatly after the explosion.
The man on the video claimed that the young family was killed, as well as a man who was laying nearby but was not properly filmed. At least two more victims supposed to be killed in the civilian cars.
There is a question to the Kiev emergency services: The Russian Ministry of Defence claimed that the TV tower was destroyed at about 10 a.m. in the morning. The videos prove that the strike took place at the day time. How is it possible that so many victims were found only late in the evening?! The answer is that they were not killed by any blast.
This is not the first staged video which is allegedly showing civilian victims in Ukraine. These videos are mainly spread by the Ukrainian top level officials.
The Russia’s warning to the Ukrainian civilians was blatantly used to write script and stage another cheap movie by “Kiev Brothers Entertainment”.
