The Kiev regime attacked the Wagner PMC Group, but so far only in the media. On November 11, a bloody video of execution of deserter from the Wagner fighters was shared online.

According to the claims of the victim, his name is Yevgeny Nuzhin. He was sentenced to 24 years in prison after he killed a man in gang fights in 1999. In summer, Nuzhin entered the Wagner ranks.

He reportedly escaped from the front and voluntarily surrendered to the Ukrainian military on September 4, 2022. Nuzhin managed to become famous in Ukraine after he gave interviews to Ukrainian media. The former prisoner claimed that he initially planned to enlist in the PMCs, and then desert to Ukraine.

When this mess started, I already decided for myself that when I come there, I would surrender anyway and try to get there. I would like to fight on the side of Ukrainians. That’s why I surrendered.

I do not know how my life will develop further. I had one goal, but I’m sitting here, and so I would like to fight for Ukraine, at least do something against Putin.

On his last video, Nuzhin claims that on November 11, he was hit on his head with a brick in Kiev, and then he found himself in the basement, tied with tape to a brick, where he will be executed.

The aim of this media campaign is clear. According to the scenario, Wagner agents captured the fugitive Ukrainian patriot Nuzhin in Kiev  and retaliated by hitting him on the head with a sledgehammer. This story has already raised questions like: Why did the publicly known Russian prisoner of war was walking the streets of the Ukrainian capital? Are the Ukrainian security services really so incompetent that Wagner fighters face no obstacles operating on the streets of Kiev?

However, the media operation did not lead to the needed results.

The Kiev regime used the fugitive Wagner fighter in the media as much as possible. Immediately after he lost any value in the information field, Kiev used the last thing that Nuzhin had, it took his life, to conduct the final performance in the history of the fugitive Wagner fighter.

The video of Nuzhin’s death has several details that confirm that the scene of his murder was carefully thought out in order to denigrate Russian military contractors.

Previously, there was only one precedent in the media confirming the cruel but fair punishment for traitors by Wagner fighters. The incident took place in Syria in 2017. An arab soldier defected to ISIS and provided terrorists with all the information he had about the military positions of the Wagner group. The traitor also managed to execute the captured Russian fighters with his own hands. ISIS members dropped the hand of the Russian prisoner to the Russian positions. Soon Wagner went on the attack and the Russians captured the same arab soldier. The Russians justly took revenge on him for his betrayal by brutally killing him. Before the traitor was burned out, his hands and legs were broken with a sledgehammer. They also handed over a phone with a video of the murder to ISIS terrorist. As a result, the video became available to the public. LINK, LINK

Ukrainian forces had all the necessary for a successful media operation against the Wagner Group, including a traitor and a sledgehammer, which has already become a symbol of the cruelty of Russian PMCs.

However, Ukrainian media specialists did not notice that then in Syria, the victim was fully conscious and  fully felt the pain of reckoning, while in their turn, Ukrainian servicemen drugged their victim. Judging by the video, Nuzhin is too calm and was likely drugged.

Another proof of the Wagner Group’s non-involvement in Nuzhin’s death is that the video was first leaked online by a fake channel allegedly  linked to the Russian anti-war movement.

The information operation of the Ukrainian PsyOp forces had goal to create an image of an inhuman organization of the Wagner Group, which today finds great popularity and support among Russians. It failed and became a good PR campaign for the Russian PMCs.

“I prefer to watch the plays in the theater. As for the sledgehammered one, it is clear in this show that he did not find happiness in Ukraine, but met with unkind but fair people. I think this movie is called “Dog death to the dog”. A wonderful director’s work, watched under one breath. I hope no animals were injured during the filming,” Prigozhin commented in the video.

Russian prisoners who were given a chance to fight for mercy and freedom in the ranks of one of the most powerful units on the Ukrainian front lines, with Wagner fighters, are forbidden to surrender to enemy forces. Russian militants are unlikely to mourn the death of the traitor Nuzhin killed by the Kiev regime. Wagner’s successes on the battlefields are the result of strict rules and full confidence in the ranks. That’s why there are no Wagner fighters among the prisoners of war in Ukraine. Kiev didn’t miss its chance to use Nuzhin in another major media campaign and make him a media star before killing him.
