UPDATE: A ceasefire between the IDF and Hamas has been reached.
On July 14, warplanes of the Israeli Air Force (IAF) bombed a “training facility” of the Hamas Movement in the al-Shati refugee camp in northern part of the Gaza Strip, according to the official twitter account of the Israeli military.

While the Israeli military claimed that it had warned residents of the building in advance, the Palestinian Shehab news agency reported that two kids named “Amir al-Numra” and “Loai Khail” were killed as a result of the airstrike on the al-Shati camp.

Multiple sources reported that the number of rockets and mortar shells, which have been launched by Hamas fighters at the Israeli settlements around the Gaza strip, has risen to 90. One of Hamas’ rockets landed near a synagogue in Sderot and injured three civilians, according to the Times of Israel.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military announced that its Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Gadi Eisenkot held a situation briefing in the Gaza Division. During the briefing, Israeli officers “assessed their readiness to undertake and enhance operational activity if deemed necessary.”
On Twitter the Israel military warned that it will “intensify its strikes in Gaza if deemed necessary, continue to improve the security situation, and strengthen the sense of security for the residents of southern Israel.”
According to Lebanese al-Mayadeen TV, Egypt is currently making huge efforts to de-escalate the situation in the Gaza Strip. However, the Hamas Movement is yet to accept a proposed ceasefire deal, which would ban Palestinian activists from launching kites at Israel territory.
