The Israeli Air Force’s F-16 crashed on October 5, returning after conducting air strikes in the Gaza Strip. Reports said that the jet caught fire and crashed outside Ramon Air Force base in southern Israel. The pilot ejected but died while landing.
The cause of the incident is still unknown.
