A Palestinian with a knife attacked a captain of the Israeli Air Force. Israeli soldiers opened fire on both of them, fatally wounding the officer.

In February this year, a Palestinian with a knife attacked a captain of the Israeli Air Force who was waiting for transport at the bus stop. The incident took place in the Israeli Gush Etzion region which is located on the west bank of the Jordan River.
The officer was able to react and shot the attacker, but he has already hit him with the knife. And when they were lying on the ground, soldiers, who were on duty at the bus stop, opened fire on both of them. As it became known, the Palestinian survived while the captain died of gunshot wounds.
