January 14, 2024, marked 100 days of escalation in the Gaza Strip. Israel summed up the interim results and published statistics on the results of 100 days of war with Hamas.
According to the Israeli statistics:
- 522 soldiers of the Israeli army were killed;
- 36 of them died in non-combat incidents;
- 19 were killed as a result of friendly fire;
- 2,536 soldiers were wounded.
Regarding Hamas losses, the Israeli army says that:
- about 9,000 Hamas members were eliminated,
- including 2 brigade commanders,
- 19 battalion commanders;
- more than 50 company commanders.
About 2,300 people suspected of having links with Hamas were arrested.
A total of 30,000 strikes were carried out in the Gaza Strip.
About 750 strikes were carried out on the Lebanese and Syrian borders, where about 170 militants are said to have been eliminated.
The Israeli military forget to count civilian casualties as a result of its operations in the Gaza Strip. At least 24,100 civilians have died in the enclave since October 7, 60,834 others were wounded.
