The Israeli army has started a large-scale military aggression in the West Bank since the morning of August 28. This operation is the largest Israeli army attack on the Israeli-occupied West Bank since Operation Defensive Shield in 2002.
Since the start of the operation, Israeli forces have attacked and besieged the Al-Arub camp in Jenin and the Nur Shams camp in Tulkarm. They also conducted extensive raids in the city of Nablus and the Balata camp, leading to the arrest of a significant number of Palestinians.
Al-Jabriyat neighborhood in Jenin and al-Fara’ camp in south of Tubas witnessed heavy clashes in recent hours. Israeli forces attacked al-Asir mosque in Jenin and destroyed the roads and infrastructure of al-Fara’ camp.
Israel TV channel 12 announced today, that 4 battalions of the Israeli Border Guard forces are participating in military operations in the West Bank. In this operation, the Israeli army uses military drones to target vehicles and Palestinians in the West Bank.
Al-Qassam Battalions, Al-Quds Battalions and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Battalions reported a fierce confrontation with the occupying forces and targeting their military vehicles with powerful bombs.
During the Israeli attacks on the Nur Shams camp in Tulkarm, Israeli forces surrounded a house and targeted it with rockets, during this attack, 5 Palestinians, including Muhammad Jaber, also known as “Abu Shuja”, the commander of the Tulkarm battalion affiliated with Islamic Jihad movement were killed. Abu Shuja had been wanted by the Israeli army for a long time.

Al-Quds Battalions of Tulkarm announced: “In line with the initial response to the assassination of our commander, we caught an Israeli infantry force in a complex ambush in al-Manshiyeh axis. The engineering unit was able to detonate the pre-prepared bomb when the Israeli forces were present and shoot at the Zionist soldiers.”
Al-Quds Battalions of Jenin also announced: “We engaged with the enemy forces in the eastern neighborhood of Jenin and targeted them with bullets and explosives, which caused direct casualties.”
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Battalion of Tulkarm also reported a heavy clashes with the enemy forces that attacked the Nur Shams camp.
18 Palestinians have been murdered since the start of the Israeli regime’s attack on the West Bank.
So far, some Israeli bulldozers and military vehicles and several Israeli soldiers were targeted by the Palestinian resistance.
The main focus of the Israeli army’s attack is on the cities of Jenin, Tubas and Tulkarm. The Israeli army has officially asked the residents of Nur Shams camp to leave the camp.

In a statement, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, Hamas, condemned these attacks and announced that the resistance in the West Bank will continue. The countries of Turkey, Egypt, and Iran also issued separate messages condemning the brutal attack, expressing concerns that this aggression would further escalate the crisis and tensions in the region.
Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz claimed yesterday that the Israeli army attacked the West Bank to neutralize the Islamic-Iranian terrorist infrastructure. He has declared these conflicts as a full-scale war in which the Israeli regime must act decisively against the terror infrastructure and must win.
The Israeli military is conducting a new aggression in the West Bank while the Israeli regime has initiated a destructive military offensive in the Gaza Strip for nearly 11 months and has committed war crimes many times during this war. In the Gaza war, more than 40,500 people, most of whom are women and children, have been massacred by Israel, and more than 93,000 others have been injured. Due to the restrictions imposed by the Israeli regime on the entry of food and medicine into the Gaza Strip, the humanitarian situation is getting worse.
Many experts believe that the Israeli regime’s new military aggression in the West Bank, due to Netanyahu’s extremist and warlike cabinet, can eventually turn into something similar to the genocide that is going on in the Gaza Strip.
