On July 23, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) employed its David’s Sling aerial defense systems against rockets launched near the Syrian-Israeli contact line at the Golan Heights area.
According to the IDF, Israel launched two interceptors. It’s unclear if the targets were hit. However, the IDF says that there were no injuries or damage as a result of the rocket launches.
Following the reports of sirens sounding in northern Israel, it was concluded that the rockets were from internal fighting in Syria where they later fell. In response to the threat,the IDF launched 2 David’s Sling aerial defense system interceptors. No injuries or damage reported

The Israeli media says that the Israeli Air Force (IAF) also scrambled warplanes during the morning incident. However, no reports about Israeli airstrikes in Syria on July 23 have appeared so far.
It’s highly likely that the IAF will use this incident to carry out more strikes in Syria.
