- On January 16, Iran’s IRGC attacked Mossad HQs near Erbil city with 11 ballistic missiles. Four missiles were fired from the west of Iran and seven others were launched from the northwest of the country;
- Peshraw Dezaye, a Kurdish businessman and an alleged Mossad facilitator in Kurdistan region, was killed as a result of the IRGC missile attack;
- On January 16, Iran’s IRGC attacked the HQs of terrorist groups in Syria’s Idlib with four Khaybar Shekan ballistic missiles;
- On January 16, Iran’s IRGC attacked the HQs of terrorist groups in other areas of Syria with nine ballistic missiles.
