جدد وزير الدفاع الإسرائيلي إسرائيل كاتس في 11 أغسطس تهديداته للمرشد الأعلى الإيراني علي خامنئي، مما أدى إلى مزيد من التوترات.
وجاء التهديد الجديد ضد الجمهورية الإسلامية رداً على ما وصفه كاتس بأنه رسم باللغة العبرية تم توزيعه من قبل طهران، ويُدرج كبار المسؤولين الإسرائيليين كأهداف اغتيال، من بينهم “وزير الإرهاب إسرائيل كاتس”.
وتضمن الرسم نفسه رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو، واتهمه بارتكاب جرائم ضد الإنسانية؛ ورئيس سلاح الجو الإسرائيلي تومر بار، الذي وُصِف بـ”قاتل الأطفال”؛ إضافة إلى العديد من كبار المسؤولين الآخرين.
قال كاتس على منصة “إكس”: “أقترح على الديكتاتور الإيراني خامنئي أنه عندما يخرج من بنايته المحصنة، أن يرفع عينيه أحيانًا إلى السماء ويستمع بعناية لكل صوت طنين”، في إشارة واضحة إلى نشاط الطائرات المسيرة الإسرائيلية.
ويبدو أن الرسم الإيراني مستوحى بشكل كبير من رسم استخدمته القوات العسكرية الإسرائيلية خلال الحرب التي استمرت 12 يومًا ضد إيران في وقت سابق من هذا العام.
بدأت إسرائيل الحرب في 13 يونيو، مشيرة إلى أن هدفها هو تقويض البرنامج النووي الإيراني. وانتهت الحرب عندما تم الإعلان المفاجئ عن وقف إطلاق النار في 24 يونيو، بعد يومين فقط من انضمام الولايات المتحدة إلى الصراع عبر شن هجمات على ثلاث مواقع نووية رئيسية في إيران.
وخلال الحرب، تم اغتيال أكثر من 30 من كبار المسؤولين العسكريين الإيرانيين، إلى جانب نحو عشرة من أبرز العلماء النوويين في الجمهورية الإسلامية. وقد كشف لاحقًا أن هذه الاغتيالات كانت جزءًا من عملية أُطلق عليها اسم “الزفاف الأحمر”، في إشارة إلى المشهد الشهير في سلسلة روايات “أغنية الجليد والنار” ومسلسل “لعبة العروش”، حيث قُتل عدد من الشخصيات الرئيسية في هجوم مفاجئ.
وحذر كاتس في منشوره على “إكس” المرشد الأعلى الإيراني من أن “مشاركي الزفاف الأحمر ينتظرونك”.
وكان الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب قد هدّد خامنئي خلال الحرب، حيث كتب على منصة “تروث سوشيال”: “نحن نعرف تمامًا أين يختبئ ما يُسمى بالمرشد الأعلى. إنه هدف سهل، لكنه آمن هناك — لن نقوم بإزالته (قتله!)، على الأقل ليس في الوقت الحالي.”
وكشف كاتس لاحقًا في يوليو أن إسرائيل سعت إلى اغتيال خامنئي أثناء الحرب مع إيران، لكنها لم تتمكن من تحديد مكانه.
وقال آنذاك: “لو كان في مرمى أعيننا، لكنا أزلناه”، مضيفًا أن إسرائيل “بحثت كثيرًا” عن خامنئي، لكن الفرصة التشغيلية لم تُتَح.
وقد جعل اغتيال قائد فيلق القدس قاسم سليماني على يد الولايات المتحدة في عام 2020، ثم وفاة الرئيس إبراهيم رئيسي في حادث مريب عام 2024، من خامنئي آخر شخصية متشددة تمتلك نفوذًا كبيرًا في الجمهورية الإسلامية.
ورغم ادعاء إسرائيل أنه لم تكن هناك في أي لحظة نية لإسقاط الحكومة الإيرانية خلال الحرب الأخيرة، فإن التهديدات السابقة والجديدة من كاتس توحي بخلاف ذلك. وتُعد الجمهورية الإسلامية هذه التهديدات بجدية. فقد أُبلغ في يونيو أن خامنئي عيّن ثلاثة خلفاء محتملين.
