On September 12, the Indian Defense Ministry signed a contract with Russia’s JSC Rosoboronexport for enhancing air defence capability of Delhi-class guided-missile destroyers of the Indian Navy. The contract on modernisation of “Air Defence Complex Kashmir and Radar Fregat MAE” should boost air-defense capabilities of Delhi-class warshsips. There are 3 Delhi-class destroyers in Indian Navy: INS Delhi, INS Mysore, INS Mumbai. All of them is in active service.
