On October 15, another large offensive operation in the Kherson region resulted in heavy losses by the AFU and no gains on the front lines. At the same time, the Ukrainian military commander was interviewed on the national TV. He laughed and eat a watermelon.
There are a lot of watermelons growing in the fertile region which has recently left Ukraine and entered into the Russian Federation. The signal of the Ukrainian commander was clear and seemed funny for his interviewer. However, the Ukrainian servicemen deployed on the front lines likely did not laugh as the comments came too early and the AFU had no time to count losses.
This is also a clear example of nonsense media coverage of military developments in the war-torn country.
