The Russian military shared footage of the ongoing operations in Avdeevka, where the Russian Army is storming heavily fortified Ukrainian strongholds in the industrial areas. The video above shows an assault operation by the Pyatnashka International Brigade, famous volunteer formation under the command of Ahra Avidzba.
The attack began with the detonation of 500 kg of a high-explosive shell that was delivered through an underground tunnel under Ukrainian positions and planted near Ukrainian stronghold in advance. The next day, Russian stormtroopers passed through the tunnels and penetrated into the defense of the AFU. The attack was supported by fire from Russian tanks from the flanks and attacks with small FPV drones. This allowed Russian servicemen to approach Ukrainian hideout. Having pounding enemy positions with grenades, Russian group stormed and took control of them. As a result, Ukrainian servicemen who survived the attack flew out of the area and abandoned the wounded.
