All years-long attempts of Ukrainian propaganda to create the image of inhumane Russian “orcs” were in vain, because the deeds of Russian soldiers proved the opposite. LINK The newly published video from the Zaporozhie frontlines shows Russian soldier saving the captured Ukrainian fighter from the strike of Ukrainian UAV.
The video published by Russian military sources shows two fighters of the Russian Dnepr group of forces escorting a surrendered Ukrainian soldiers to Russian military positions in the Orekhov direction, when they were attacked by Ukrainian kamikaze drone. Russian soldier covered the pow with his body right at the moment of the strike. Fortunately, Ukrainian UAV did not explode and fell near the soldiers.
The group was coordinated by Russian reconnaissance UAV, which filmed the attack:
Ukrainian soldiers are usually targeting their comrades, who surrendered to the Russian military, with drone strikes or artillery shelling. Despite the risks, Russian soldiers continue taking prisoners and escort them to the rear.
The Ukrainian pow on video was definately surprised by the incident. Those whom he considered to be his brothers in arms tried to kill him for his desire to survive. Those whom he considered enemies risked themselves to save his life. Russian military reporters note that the incident fully reflects the true essence of the conflict: Russia’s enemy is not sitting in trenches, but in the center of Kiev.
