The Russian military actively uses motorcycles in its military operations on the Ukrainian front line. They help Russian soldiers to fulfill various targets, especially in the field areas in the southern directions.
Russian military sources shared new video of another risky operation against the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). A fighter of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on a motorcycle approached Ukrainian military positions and threw a grenade of 30 kg of explosives there. Then, the brave fighter calmly left the area and the explosion blew apart the fortifications with the AFU. The operation was coordinated by Russian reconnaissance UAV.
While various types of UAVs are massively used by the warring sides in Ukraine, any movement on the frontlines is very risky and is always observed by the enemy. Thus, the use of motorcycles in military operations allows to significantly increase personal mobility of the infantry. Though the rider is less protected from shrapnel, Russian operations on motorcycles are more daring and rapid.
Russians launch assaults on motorcycles. After Russian artillery pounds the defending Ukrainian positions, assault groups on motorcycles divide the enemy’s defenses into sectors and destroy the pockets of resistance.
In particular, the massive assaults on motorcycles allowed Russian forces to broke through Ukrainian defense in and around the fortress of Ugledar.

Motorcycles are also very useful for drone operators. They increase the effectiveness of the use of drones and allow the operators to surprisingly launch various types of UAVs from a point from where the enemy could not have expected; while the quick change of position increases the safety of the drone operator.
