Russian military sources shared footage of the first known successful launch of the Russian-designed marine kamikaze drone. The Russian military is ready to respond to the Armed Forces of Ukraine that launched the mass production of their unmanned boats thanks to the support of NATO warmongers.
The footage confirmed that the launch was successful and the target was destroyed. The unmanned boat reportedly carried 250 kg of explosive. In total, the designed boats may carry 350 kg. The declared range of the unmanned boats is up to 250 km with the basic load. The drones are equipped with modern satellite modules, as well as an inertial navigation system based on compass deviation.
The project of this “people’s” unmanned boat was developed by private enthusiasts and it was agreed by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation several months ago. The production was launched at the workshops in the Tula region with the support of the local government. The project will be presented to the new Defense Minister of the Russian Federation Belousov, who is now taking office and should approve the mass production.
The Russian military is working on mass production of its unmanned boats. There are several different projects in process. Such unmanned systems can be used to carry out attacks on enemy facilities and infrastructure both at sea, rivers and on the coast.
