On March 11, a Pakistani F-16 fighter jet crashed and its pilot died near Islamabad during a rehearsal for an upcoming military parade in the capital, the Air Force said. The F-16 jet was taking part in rehearsals for a Pakistan Day airshow and parade set to take place on March 23.
According to an official statement, there were no casualties on the ground or damage to property. The pilot was identified as Noman Akram.
