The Houthis carried out two successful military operations against the Saudi-led coalition and its proxies in the southern Saudi province of Najran on June 5.

In the first operation, the Houthis destroyed two LAV II Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs), a LAV-25 infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) and a bulldozer of the Saudi National Guard west of the al- Sudais mount in southern Najran.

The second operation targeted Saudi-led coalition troops near the area of al-Tal’a. Houthi fighters managed to capture key positions after killing several Saudi-backed Yemeni fighters.

In the last few months, the Saudi-led coalition and its proxies suffered from massive loses as a result of the Houthis cross-border attacks. The coalition made several attempts to secure the Kingdom’s southern border. However, they all failed.
