On November 15, Hezbollah launched another wave of attacks from southern Lebanon against the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).

The group announced in four separate statements that its fighters had targeted the Ramim and Pranit barracks as well as the military sites of Hadab Yaron and Ruwaisat al-Alam on the border with rockets and other “suitable weapons”.

In two other statements, the group said that its fighters struck a vehicle and a troop gathering of the IDF in the al-Tayhat triangle and to the southwest of Birkat Risha area with anti-tank guided missiles.

The attacks were carried out “in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their brave and honorable resistance,” Hezbollah noted in all six statements.

Separately, the IDF said that a number of rockets were fired at northern Israel from southern Lebanon. However, there are no injuries in the attacks.

The IDF announced that it was responding with artillery shelling at the sources of the fire. Lebanese media reported that the towns and villages of Tayr Harfa, Aita ash-Shaab, Blida, Hula, Rab Thilateen, Markaba, Burj al-Muluk, Labouneh, al-Adissa, Kfarshouba, Yaron, Alma ash-Shaab and Naqoura were shelled.

Since the Hamas-led surprise attack from the Gaza Strip on October 7, Hezbollah and its allies have had near-daily exchanges of fire with the IDF along the Israeli-Lebanese border.

As of November 15, the clashes on the Lebanese front have claimed the lives of seven IDF troops, three Israeli civilians, 72 fighters of Hezbollah, two fighters from the Lebanese Resistance Brigades, one fighter from the Lebanese Resistance Regiments, three fighters from the Hamas Movement, four fighters from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and sixteen Lebanese civilians.
