Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba (an Iraqi Shia paramilitary linked with Iran) announced on September 7 that the group will send 1000 additional fighters to Aleppo in order to support the Syrian army’s operations in the area.
The announcement came amid reports that a commander of the Quds Force of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Maj General Qasem Soleimani has arrived southern Aleppo and met with some Syrian military commanders to discuss the ongoing operation there.
